This page is meant to put all of our suggested software, products, travel resources, and everything you may want to know in ONE place. We separated it into sections to make items easier to find.
If you have a specific question we don’t cover here, please shoot us an email or drop a comment below. Please note that this page contains affiliate links, so if you click on them it supports our blog and YouTube channel! They don’t cost you anything extra either.
Cameras & Tech
Our main camera is the Canon EOS M50. We also use the GoPro Hero 7 Black for our underwater videos and for some features like the hyperlapse. In April 2019 we acquired a Moza Air Gimbal (see above). We made our own camera insert which fits the camera, lenses, and Gimbal.
Other camera accessories include:
We love to book Air B&Bs because they feel like home and you can cook and do laundry to save money! Book yours using this link and get $20 towards your stay!
Editing & Social Media
We use Adobe Premiere to edit our videos. To make our graphics like this one, we use Canva and Adobe Photoshop. Canva for the quick and easy designs, Photoshop for the more advanced.
To maintain our presence on Pinterest, we use the Tailwind software. Basically, this software allows you to optimize when you post pins, find similar pins from your “Tribe”, and loop pins to be re-posted strategically throughout the season or year. Sign up for Tailwind here and get a free month!
Money & Miles
Aimee frequently uses her Southwest credit card to get miles and avoid paying conversion fees, and it takes them all around the US.
Aimee and Dallas both have Charles Schwab debit cards, which allow them to withdraw cash in any country without paying ATM or conversion fees.
Finding Remote Work
These are our favorite resources to find remote work, both freelance gigs and long-term jobs.
We use WordPress as our Content Management System and GoDaddy as our host!
Airlines, Flights, & Tour Groups
Tour Groups: If you’re under 35 years old, we recommend using Contiki Tours (see why here).
